Dresden Rotary Receives RI Significant Achievement Award

The Dresden Rotary Club has been selected by Rotary International to receive the RI Significant Achievement Award. The purpose of the RI Significant Achievement Award is to recognize a club activity that addresses a community problem or need, to encourage new projects on the part of every club, and to promote increased awareness of the importance of exemplary club efforts.

This very special honour was in recognition of a summer concert series that also involved collaborating with other local service clubs in what turned out to be a summer long community event that gave a needed morale boost to a very wide audience. Janet McPeek attended their club meeting on Monday evening, June 20th to formally present the award.
