$500 Presented to Dresden Food Bank

Foodbank Volunteer Donna Babcock accepts the cheque from Rotarian John Goodchild.

The Dresden Rotary Club hosted their annual Seniors’ Christmas Party on December 7th at the Czech Hall. One hundred seniors were treated to a Heather Club turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Rotary and Interact members and friends including Assistant Rotary Governor Bonnie Pidgeon and her husband Gerard, took over serving duties. Jeff (The Barber) Vercauteren provided the entertainment and musical support for the Rotary Glee Club. Santa Claus made a rare early appearance to deliver door prizes to 24 lucky attendees.

 Thanks to generous donations from local seniors, over $500 was presented to the Dresden FoodBank.
